WINDSOR
3 rd Davyhulme were honoured to be invited to windsor castle in april 2004. The band had gone before but only the drum core acctualy played, 2004 was the year the whole band were invited to go along.

Dennis Yarwood Band master was pleased to have been invited because this was a very special occasion were the whole band would be playing in front of royalty.

The day of their apperance was a hot, sunny day. It was so hot that the scouts had started to faint! but 3rd Davyhulme still went on playing determined to give a good show.

The proud band stood in the blistering heat for 2 whole hours. Playing a selection of tunes from 'chicken run' to 'rendevous'.

Overall the atmosphere was joyfull and it was a great way to spend the afternoon.

The band before-hand was nervous in getting uniforms right so they could give a very smart apperance for the chier scout.

It was a wonderfull afternoon in which there was a range of music which kept us entertained. We hope to be invited again so that we can display an even better performance.
